According to the Real Estate Investment Traded Funds Instructions announced by the Capital Market Authority (CMA) on Sunday 30/10/2016, the main investment objective of Real Estate Investment Traded Funds – known globally as REITs – is investing in developed real estate that generate rental income. REITs are accessible to all investor segments to buy and sell REITs units in the same method currently used for equities.
