The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) hosted on the 24th February 2014 in Smart Village its second workshop for listed companies and other related parties to inform them with details of the new listing rules. 60 listed companies participated in this workshop.
From his side, Dr. Mohammed Omran, EGX Chairman, said that the meetings held by EGX with listed companies ensure more efficient application of the listing and disclosure rules and regulations which increase protecting the investors’ rights, specially the minimum shareholders. EGX mentioned that listed companies will be obliged to disclose their steps to comply with the listing rules to insure investors’ rights.
